Randy's work is overseen by the
39th Street Church of Christ in Independence, Missouri. 

Randy is a native of Independence, Missouri and has labored in that area in both secular work and evangelistic endeavors for several years. He has been involved with the work of the Riga Central Church of Christ for over 12 years. The church was established in Riga in 1992 and still remains loyal to the Lord. For several years Randy has desired to return to full time labors with the church in Riga, but circumstances did not allow such until January of 2004. In that month Randy was able to move to Riga and begin his full time labors with the congregation there, with a 3-5 year initial commitment to the work.

With the church already established in Riga, Randy will be able to focus laboring with the brethren there on building up the church and spreading the gospel throughout the country. Future goals include a weekly radio program, increased Correspondence Course work and increased campaigns in the area. Randy's labors in learning the Latvian language will hopefully enable his labors to soon be absent of the English language and thus needed translation.

Latvia is the central country of the Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania). On the world map Latvia is to be found in North-eastern Europe, on the east coast of the Baltic Sea. The landscape of the country is marked by lowland plains and rolling hills. Most of the countryside is less than 100 meters above sea level. More than one half of Latvia’s population lives in the capital city Riga.
